Dr. Craig H. Lichtblau is a double board-certified physician specializing in Brain Injury Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with 35 years of clinical experience. Recognized for his expertise in neuromuscular function and sensory feedback systems, he observed firsthand how proprioception — the body's internal guidance system — plays a critical role in precision, safety, and control.
That clinical insight became the foundation for SKAURA™. Dr. Lichtblau conceived a razor engineered to work with the body's natural sensory intelligence, a concept recognized under U.S. Patent Publication No. 20220219346. Through SKAURA™, he brings medical science to everyday ritual — proving that the principles used to rehabilitate the body can elevate daily moments into ones of awareness and confidence.

Ty Cross is the Co-Founder and CEO of SKAURA™, bringing more than 30 years of enterprise leadership across healthcare, transportation, and aerospace. A US Army 82nd Airborne Division veteran and Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program alumnus, Ty built his career turning complex innovation into disciplined, purposeful execution.
Building on Dr. Lichtblau's patented proprioceptive concept, he saw something the grooming industry had never offered — a product built around the body's own intelligence. Ty led product development and manufacturing and built SKAURA™ from the ground up. Through SKAURA™, he is redefining grooming as something more than maintenance — a practice of comfort, intention, and control built around the body's natural design.
